Senior Analyst/Analyst, Service Delivery

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Analyst will support/work with Internal Asurion teams, such as Program Management, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Client Services, Care and IT to maximize NEW/Asurion profitability by driving down program costs and services contract claim severity.  The Analyst will support planned initiatives and projects; work cross-functionally to analyze existing processes and look for areas of improvement; support service team to implement changes in process and procedure.

 

Essential Duties:

 

  • Continually review claims management processes to identify improvements and possible cost reduction opportunities.
  • Identify and implement controls which will address high severity claims while balancing the need to improve the customers experience
  • Support program manager in preparing forecasts, KPI updates, and financials analysis
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of repair and service data looking at trends, outliers and anomalies to identify areas of opportunities
  • Develop project initiatives and present to management for approval; project scopes may be small group internal improvement projects to large scale, enterprise wide application developments
  • Provide team leadership or functional level expertise to cross-functional project teams as assigned, scope ranging from department level to enterprise wide level.
  • Execute project plans/ timelines, identify resource requirements and manage project to established budgets.
  • Conduct statistical level analysis on various projects, evaluating performance against metrics and provide reporting of results to senior level management.
  • Analyze Parts cost component of severity and provide analysis support for best parts procurement strategy.
  • Generate and analyze data reports.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a mathematical field such as Engineering, Business, Finance or Accounting is required for this position.
  • Requires 4 to 6 years of related experiences.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Experience with SQL and Microstrategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to create reports and financial records and present them effectively.
  • The ability to develop complex formulas to perform needed calculations and demonstrate how data was derived.
  • The ability to read, write, analyze and interpret instructions, professional documents, and business publications.
  • This position requires approximately 10% travel.
