The Treasury Manger is a critical member of the Tax & Treasury function leading all treasury areas including: cash management, foreign exchange, investor relations, and financial reporting. This position is also responsible for the care and custody of corporate funds and other financial assets.
Essential Duties
- Manage company’s cash/fund/investment balances.
- Implement cash management to comply with operational and required needs.
Maintain and enhance cash forecasting system.
- Document treasury procedures and maintain policy manuals.
Manage interest payments on debt, swaps, caps etc…; process timely payment of interest due.
- Organize and maintain corporate and subsidiary bank documents and records; coordinate all signature changes; open and close corporate accounts as needed.
Develop and maintain deposit, funds concentration, disbursement, and information and control systems for cash management.
- Supervise and train Treasury Analyst.
- Assist acquired companies with cash management controls.
- Manage internal Credit Facilities/Agreements.
- Assist Accounting with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Consolidation and Financial Planning.
- Assist with Dividend Disbursement payments.
- Prepare and coordinate issuance of Letters of Credit.
- Monitor Credit Card/E-Check/COD transactions.
Qualifications
· Demonstrated knowledge of treasury and cash management theories and regulations.
· Demonstrated knowledge of current business law practices and tax implications.
· Demonstrated ability to manage and lead others. .
· Strong analytical and organizational skills.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and theory.
· Demonstrated knowledge of management and supervisory principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
· Certified Treasury Professional or Certified Cash Manager credentials preferred.
· 7+ years demonstrated experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting or related field.
· 3+ years demonstrated supervisory experience.
